A big year before kindergarten

Georgia Pre-K is about much more than the first day of kindergarten. It is a year for learning to speak up, listen, work with friends, try new things and feel proud of growing independence.

Learning comes to life

A story can start a conversation. Building with blocks can lead to counting and problem-solving. Art, songs, pretend play and shared discoveries help children connect early reading, math and language with the world around them.

Helping children feel ready

We want children to feel comfortable asking questions, taking turns, caring for their belongings and trying something challenging. These everyday skills grow alongside the academic experiences that prepare them for the next school year.
